The problem with traditional device insurance and warranties

Device protection from manufacturers and wireless carriers is complicated, restrictive, and often ineffective.

  • Complexity: Tiered pricing systems, vague claim eligibility, and multiple providers leave consumers wondering who to call and if their claim is even valid.
  • Restrictive: Many plans are only available at the time of purchase, require long contracts, and don’t cover older devices.
  • Ineffective: Consumers generally have no knowledge of how much a repair will cost and often end up paying service fees of $250+ to repair or replace their devices.

Bottom line—Many consumers with traditional device insurance plans don’t know what they’re paying for, are unclear on what types of claims are eligible, and pay high service fees when they try to use their policy. This is because manufacturers and wireless carriers offer it as an add-on or upsell to their core product or service.

DeviceGuard provides the protection you need with the simplicity you want

DeviceGuard offers a simpler, more comprehensive, and more affordable way to protect your devices than what’s currently on the market. Here’s why customers choose DeviceGuard:

One monthly plan for all your devices

No matter how many devices you want to protect—from smartphones to your entire smart home setup—you still only have one monthly bill, one contract to read, and one company to file your claims with.

Flexible and customizable plans

Depending on which devices you want to protect, you can adjust your plan so that you only pay for what you need. Need to upgrade or downgrade your plan? With a monthly pay-as-you-go contract, making a change to your plan is easy.

No restrictions on device age or brand

Protect whatever you want, regardless of when you bought it, which brand it is, or which wireless carrier you use.

Flat-rate service fees for every device

When a device breaks you know exactly what it will cost to have it repaired or replaced. The flat-rate service fees from DeviceGuard do not increase with device age or any other factor.

How DeviceGuard Works

If one of your devices breaks in any way, we’ll get it repaired or replaced right away. Here’s how it works.
  • STEP 1: Get Technical Help

If your device isn’t smashed, but it’s still not working properly, we may be able to help. Call our team of technical experts 24/7 and we’ll try to guide you toward a solution on the spot.

  • Step 2: File a Claim

If your device is indeed smashed or unable to be fixed over the phone by our team of tech experts, then you’ll file a claim. You can file a claim over the phone (M-F 8AM-5PM) or on our website anytime. We’ll review your claim for approval.

  • Step 3: Replace, repair, or refund

Once your claim is approved, our team will begin fulfillment.

If a replacement is needed, we’ll arrange for a new device to be delivered to you.
If repair is possible, our team will either:

    • Guide you to the closest approved repair shop
    • Provide mailing instructions for you to ship the device out for repair
    • For larger in-home devices, we’ll send a technician directly to your home

If a refund is best, we’ll cut you a check.
